Common questions

Do I need an MDM?

No. PRV8 Config installs the network profile on the iPhone or iPad itself, and PRV8 5G Connect is a regular Google Play app. If you already use an MDM, contact us to discuss deployment options.

Which devices and OS versions are supported?

PRV8 Config runs on iPhone and cellular iPad with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Multiple networks, geofences and SIM matching need iOS or iPadOS 18. PRV8 5G Connect runs on Android 13 or later, although Android 17 adds additional functionality. A properly configured SIM/eSIM, including carrier privileges, is required for the PRV8 5G Connect App.

What does it cost?

PRV8 Config is $1.99 on the App Store. PRV8 5G Connect is free on Google Play and requires a Private Network SIM/eSIM provisioned with carrier privileges.

Will it work with my private network?

PRV8 works with 3GPP LTE and 5G SA private networks, including CBRS. Your network also has to be provisioned to accept the devices and their SIMs.
